His favorite color is blue and his favorite school subject is PE. When he is not in school he likes to play with soccer net. Samuel’s favorite animals are tigers. His favorite books are Magic Tree House books. He has a rock collection. He likes to plays t-ball and soccer. His favorite foods are macaroni and cheese and cheese pizza. Student #8 brought several photos of himself and his family to share with us. We enjoyed learning more about Student #8.

Student #8 celebrated his 7th birthday on Thursday March 31st.

Happy Birthday, Student #8!

The first graders are doing an awesome job of reading to meet their reading goal for Camp Read-A-Lot. As of Thursday afternoon they have read 1316 books leaving them with only 84 more to go to meet the 1400 book goal.

I am looking forward to visiting with you during parent/teacher conferences. You should have a sheet in the Friday Folder with your time slot. If you have anything specific you would like to discuss, jot me a note in the Friday Folder so can be sure and have it ready for you. Your child’s report card will be coming home on Tuesday.

I am looking forward to Grandparent’s Day, which is coming up on Wednesday April 20th. This is always such a fun time for the children. Be sure and mark your calendars.

Many of the children are in need of new pencils and crayons for the last few weeks of school. If you could ask your child if they need any supplies that would be great.
