We have reached the end of Chapter 9 in math. We will spend the remaining days of first grade reviewing math skills we have learned. Today we played a penny, dime, dollar exchange game. Children rolled a dice and took a pre-arranged amount of money from the bank. When they got either ten pennies or ten dimes they had to exchange them for a comparable amount. The children get more practice than they realize when playing games such as these.
